What you are hearing, and what you are not
The lyrics are Wardell’s, written by him. The recording is a production demo generated with Suno, an AI music tool — his sketch of the arrangement, not a finished master. Live vocalists, musicians and choir are planned for the recordings that follow.
He discloses this himself, unprompted, on his own release material. We repeat it here for the same reason we printed it in the magazine: Signal & Song spends six pages telling independent artists to be exact about what they made, what a machine made, and which of those they actually own. The founder of the company that publishes it does not get an exception.
Wardell Williams is one of the founders of MBSGG Global Network, which publishes Signal & Song. He was not selected by our submission process, he did not pay for the page, and no sponsor had any say in it. You are entitled to weigh the coverage knowing where he sits.
The story behind it
